SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 19, 2007) – The 28th annual Exotic Erotic Ball and Expo, the internationally acclaimed Celebration of Flesh, Fetish, and Fantasy, has announced major additions to its talent lineup. Southern Country Hip-Hop artist Bubba Sparxxx will headline the festival's Bling Bling Stage. Meanwhile, The Charlie Brechtel Band will perform music that captures “the soul of the American biker” on the festival's Arena Stage. Closing the show on the Arena Stage will be Peaches - the self-made, self-produced, leader of the electro punk movement and mistress of the original dirty lyrical classic in a spectacular collaboration with the Vau de Vire Society , the eclectic circus dance and acrobatic troupe spawned from the depths of San Francisco's thriving sub-culture. These renowned artists join an already jam packed performance lineup of leading rock, rap, reality TV, and other recognized raconteurs. Together, they promise to deliver the most scintillating and sometimes salacious stage show ever to sashay into San Francisco over the past century. It all takes place at the Cow Palace over Halloween Weekend – October 26 and 27, 2007.
Snoop Dogg will perform live at the Expo on Friday night, October 26, as part of a benefit performance for The Healing Circle, and other Bay Area charities. Snoop will return Saturday night, October 27, as a special guest at the Ball, where he will join Tera Patrick and Danny Bonaduce as judges of the Ball's world famous costume contests. Other musical performances include the Bay Area debut of The Spyderz (the latest rock troupe from Evan Seinfeld, ex-Biohazard frontman and star of HBO's hit series, Oz), superstar DJ Donald Glaude, the all-little person tribute band Mini-Kiss, and - as part of its new mission to help discover and promote the best in sexy independent bands - the Ball has joined forces with indie-music powerhouse Sonicbids and is presently reviewing submissions from hundreds of hopeful applicants, two of whom are guaranteed slots at the Ball, as winners of the Ball's first-ever Indie Music competition.
Joining the Ball all the way from Berlin, Germany for a one-off show, Peaches has received considerable and diverse acclaim from artists and innovators such as Deborah Harry, Iggy Pop, Bjork, Lil Kim, and LCD Soundsystem, not to mention the entire fashion and art world. Her gender-bending live shows are legendary – and one reporter likened it to a one-woman Kiss concert that has left the pop world in awe. Hailing from LeGrange, Georgia, Bubba Sparxx burst onto the scene in 2001 with the Timberland-produced frenetic hit single, “Ugly.” His sound has been likened to a marriage between country and hip-hop, with pounding beats and heavy bass supporting fiddles, harmonicas and plenty of twang. Charlie Brechtel is acknowledged as the hard-rocking leader of the world's top biker band. Singing songs about “The Life,” Charlie's powerful lyrics and imagery takes his listeners into a world that first begun in post WWII America, and evolved into the powerful and envied sub-culture of the American Biker. The Vau de Vire Society consists of classically-trained dancers, and some of the nations most acclaimed acrobats, aerial artists, and contortionists, and they'll be performing solos, and then joining Peaches for an explosive finale.
In addition, the Expo has added Brandon Maxwell. This celebrity sex educator, commentator, and writer, specializing in male sexuality, will present seminars for men on how to improve their sex lives and intimate relationships with his revolutionary Maxwell Multiple Climax (MMC); a technique that teaches men how to experience multiple orgasms. Based upon his study of Tantric sex and philosophy, along with his personal experiences and revelations, MMC is Tantric-Made-Easy for men offering simple yet entertaining instruction.
Also featured at the Expo are an arts installation with the theme Make Love, Not War, a customized Spike & Mike's Sick & Twisted Festival of Animation with Spike himself creating the all-star lineup for the occasion, and over 100 booths featuring erotic art, exotic fashion, and adult toys and novelties.

APPENDIX TO RELEASE: THE HISTORY OF THE BALL
Perry Mann organized the first Exotic Erotic Ball in 1979 to raise campaign funds for his buddy, the late Louis Abolafia, who was running for President with the Nudist Party under the slogan: “I have nothing to hide.” Louis is credited with coining the phrase, “Make Love, Not War” and his legendary Greenwich Village love-ins inspired the New York press to crown him “The Love King.”
Since its first year, more than 500,000 people have attended the Ball. The City of San Francisco has issued three proclamations for “Exotic Erotic Ball Day,” twice by former Mayor Willie Brown (in 1999 and again in 2001), and once by current Mayor Gavin Newsom (in 2004).
Celebrity guests and performers have included Grace Jones, Joan Jett, Kool & the Gang, Chris Isaak, Madonna, Sugar Ray, Dennis Rodman, Ron Jeremy, Motorhead, The Tubes, Everclear, Nina Hartley. In 2001, Mann (with Foreword by Dennis Rodman) released the book: The Exotic Erotic Ball: Twenty Years of the World's Sexiest Party . In 2004, Mann introduced the Exotic Erotic Expo, which grew into a two-day event in 2005 .
“The premise to the Ball has always been simple,” says Mann. “We give people a safe haven to act out their fantasies - within the law, of course. We attract men and women of all ages, heterosexuals, gays, lesbians, and transsexuals. We welcome students, teachers, lawyers, stockbrokers, secretaries, doctors, nurses, and - of course - members of Congress. At our San Francisco Ball, people not only come from all over the Bay Area, but about a third of our crowd comes from outside California entirely. There was a time when many events were independently produced, and developed a following based upon having regard for their audience, providing quality content, and invoking a spirit of respect and camaraderie; I am not sure that is so true today. People who attend this event know it doesn't matter who you are, what you do, or where you're from – at the Exotic Erotic Ball, everyone's a star!”
Over the past quarter-century, the Ball has evolved from local to world-renowned legend. It celebrates human sexuality, promotes freedom of expression, and has raised innumerable funds in support of many worthy charities, thus fostering strong ties to the community. The Ball is an ardent and vocal supporter of First Amendment Rights. Among its other causes have been AIDS, domestic violence, child abuse, homelessness, and problems of the inner city. It hosts an annual blood drive with Blood Centers of the Pacific.
‘Make Love, Not War' was once the rallying cry of a generation,” adds Perry Mann. “Yet I don't think that message has ever been timelier than it is today, and I don't think our show has ever been more topical either. We are going to make sure that the 2007 Exotic Erotic Ball and Expo is a very special event.”
