Exotic Erotic Ball Celebrates 29th Year with Largest-Ever Weekend Party
Event Doubles its Prize Money, adds an Erotic Arts Festival, and Welcomes the World's Premier Penis Painter, The Genitorturers, Guest Emcee Danny Bonaduce, Mobius8, and Adult Video Vixens Bobbi Billard and Akira Lane

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (July 11, 2008) – The 29th annual Exotic Erotic Ball and Expo, the internationally acclaimed Celebration of Flesh, Fetish, and Fantasy, and - according to E! Entertainment TV - “The World's #1 Wildest and Sexiest Party,” has proclaimed its 2008 event to be the largest weekend party it's ever thrown. The festivities will occur the weekend before Halloween - October 24 and 25, 2008 – at the event's new waterside location in Treasure Island.

When he announced the move to Treasure Island, founder Perry Mann stated that he would double the cash & prize value for Best Costumes from $10,000 to $20,000. Mann has now issued a second statement announcing that the 2008 event would also host the Bay Area's largest-ever Erotic Arts Festival.

“I am hereby issuing an open call for all Bay Area erotic artists to please submit their work for consideration. Painting, sculpture, photography, wood, glass, ceramic, mixed media, the unusual, the irreverent, and even the bizarre – let's show the world how much artistic talent there is in the Bay,” says Mann. “To kick-start the process, I am bringing in Pricasso, the Penis Painter, all the way from Australia. I personally own a penis, and I can attest that it's difficult enough getting it to pee properly.   I really couldn't imagine using it to paint a masterpiece. That tells you how special this guy is, and just how special this show will be.”

“The Ball” is already widely considered the world's #1 adult-themed party event with live headline entertainment on 5 stages – music, electronic, burlesque, circus, and fetish.   “The Expo” features over 100 carefully chosen exhibits showcasing the latest in exotic fashion, adult products, games, websites, and novelties, plus panel discussions on First Amendment rights, fashion shows, a spiritual oasis with psychics and massage, erotic poetry, a classic cinema, body painting and a human petting zoo.  

Mann also announced that Danny Bonaduce will return to help judge the Ball's legendary costume contests, whose prizes now total $20,000. Danny, who called last year's Ball experience “my favorite gig of the year”, will be accompanied by multitalented myspace vixen Bobbi Billard, who is now the world's #1 downloaded model on the entire net , and Asian Supermodel Akira Lane.   The Genitorturers will be among those performing on the Ball's musical stage, and performance artist Mobius8 will be bringing his mind-altering musicical multimedia stage show to the Ball's electronic stage. Paul Nathan (AKA Unkle Paul) is back as emcee and ringleader. “He's perfect for this – smart, talented, and appropriately dysfunctional,” says Ball Producer Howard Mauskopf.   The rest of the entertainment lineup, totaling over 65 acts in all, will be announced in the coming months.

Through its unique combination of mixing live mainstream musical, burlesque, and circus performances with political irreverence, humorous hijinks, and the bizarre - the Exotic Erotic Ball has delighted and regaled over half a million attendees over its long and highly acclaimed history.   Over 30,000 are expected in 2008 as the event takes over a beautiful waterside site at Treasure Island.

The two-day Expo is open Friday, October 24, 2008 from 2PM to 10PM, and on Saturday, October 25, 2008, from Noon to 6PM.   The Ball runs from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on the evening of October 25, 2008, and the Expo will also be open during the Ball for the enjoyment of Ball attendees.
