LIZ PHAIR AND THE 88s BROADCAST ON KCRW FROM THE VILLAGE

JULY 17, 2003 WEST LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA Liz Phair and
her band were recently in The Villages Studio A, performing live for an
on-air broadcast on Los Angeles radio station KCRWs acclaimed Morning
Becomes Eclectic program. Phair and company performed The Village in support
of their latest CD, 2003s Capitol release, Liz Phair, the long awaited
follow-up to 1998s whitechocolatespaceegg.
Liz
Phair will spend the summer months of 2003 touring the USA in support of her
new CD. The Village session was engineered by Jason Wormer and assisted by Greg
Imler.
Los Angeles based rockers The 88s were also in The Villages Studio
A recently, recording a high-energy live set of music for KCRWs famous
Morning Becomes Eclectic radio program. The 88s came by The Village for
the KCRW broadcast in support of their debut CD, 2003s Moontron/EMK release,
Kind of Light. The 88s will spend Summer 2003 playing shows around Los
Angeles.
The
Village session was engineered by Dan Monti and assisted by Darren Frank.
KCRWs Ariana Morgenstern produced both of the live sessions at The Village.
