MY OH MYA: R&B STAR MYA RECORDS AT THE VILLAGE STUDIOS
February 17, 2003 Los Angeles, California The Villages studio F recently played host to the sultry R&B stylings of Mya, as she recorded vocal tracks for her follow-up to 2001s chart-topping CD, Fear of Flying.
Mya, also known for teaming up with Christina Aguilera, Pink, and Lil Kim for 2001s remake of Lady Marmalade on the Moulin Rouge soundtrack, spent two weeks at The Village working with famed producer Terry Lewis of the dynamic duo Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. Engineer Ian Cross and assistant Matt Marrin also lent a helping hand.
